Walnut/Purple Heart Jewelry Box - Green Fabric (10"x6.5"x4.5") - Including Removable Ring Organizer

Handmade jewelry box made from Walnut and Pruple Hearth with internal dividers and tray made from Maple wood with Green fabric covering the bottom of box and trays. Dovetail joinery is hand-cut using hand saws and chisels. The box is sanded to 180grit and finished using Osmo Polyx®-Oil which is a natural plant oil and wax-based finish that is made from sunflower oil, soya oil, thistle oil, carnauba wax, and candelilla wax. The finish produces a natural wood feel to the touch and appearance while at the same time producing an extremely stable and durable finish that will last a lifetime. The finished box is also water-repellant. Black Walnut (Juglandaceae) which is the main wood the box is made from is hard and tight-grained. The heartwood is dark brown to chocolate brown. The Purple strip in the lid is made from Purple Hearth wood from Central America. The internal component is made from domestic Maple wood.
